Jim Edwards

Jim attended St Francis Xavier University, where he obtained both a Diploma in Jazz Studies and a B.A. Music (Jazz). He also attended the Canadian Forces School of Music. Upon graduation, Jim was posted to Calgary, where he was a featured performer with the PPCLI Band. Jim became the principal trombonist of the Guelph Symphony in 2004. He has also performed with the Stratford Symphony Orchestra, the Brantford Orchestra, Mississauga Symphony and also plays Euphonium with the Wellington Winds and WindJammers. Jim is also an active jazz trombonist, having played with and conducted numerous jazz ensembles throughout Canada.
